Happy little title, swimming in the sea.

So I'm home. And so-far so-good. But I haven't even been home for twenty-four hours. So a lot could happen in that time. We will see. And theoretically, I will post.

You may have noticed (but probably not)...

That I haven't posted in a while. Sorry. Well, not really. My internet was down. I think I have it all straightened out, but I'm not sure as I'm on the computer in the library. And really, I'm only posting now because I'm stalling for time until 2:30 when I have something to do. You hear that? I'm just using you to waste time. Doesn't that make you feel proud? I hope so. To make you feel a little bit better, I did actually have some things I wanted to post. But now I can't think of them. So you're just getting this rambling crap about how I can't remember what I was going to put. Hmm, I think that might have made you feel better and worse at the same time. Not my fault. Oh, wait, I guess it is my fault, huh? Oh well. Hey, good news. I'm going home on Wednesday!! Only TWO WEEKS behind schedule but whatever, I'm going home. I'm very happy about that. Which reminds me, I have to call Ringo and let her know. ... ... ... Man, that's bu...

Quizzes.

So, just taking some quizzes on Tickle Tests (formally Emode). Because it's fun. But sometimes creepingly (is that a word?) accurate and depressing. Anyway, figured what the hell, I'll put them up. Do you know Datespeak? Apparently, I speak the truth with no double talk, and expect people to do the same thing in return. But since people often, well, lie, I can be a little naive and trusting. The recurring theme in my dreams? "You're dreaming about something that feels just out of your control. This means that in some area of your life, you desire a way to rein in the external chaos that's impacting you and once again feel on top of things." Are you evil? I'm closer to evil than good (well, duh!). I'm not sexually evil but I'm fairly passive-aggressive. And incredibly black-hearted. What's your sense of humor? Banter. Like a king of pinball, you've made an art of playing off of people because your sense of humor is all about banter. Like man...

Have you ever...?

Have you ever just felt like the world is crashing around you? Like everything is just plummeting and there's nothing you can do to stop it. Like all you can do is sit back and watch, helpless to move. And while it doesn't seem like there was anything you could have done, it still all seems your fault and you have this huge pit in your stomach that tells you that though you can't figure out how you messed up, you did and you did really bad. Because that's how I feel right now. My entire life just feels like this enevitable train wreck. Like I can see where it's going to jump the tracks but no matter how hard I press the brakes, I'm neve rgoing to stop in time. Because that's what I feel like when I have to ask them for help. They're like this looming brick wall in my life and no matter how hard I try to avoid it, I always end up smacking into it. It's terrifying having to ask them for help. My life just really sucks right now and I don't know how...

You'll be happy to know.

Sun Tzu Says: "In general, commanding a large number is like commanding a few. It is a question of dividing up the numbers. Fighting with a large number is like fighting with a few. It is a questions of configuration and designation." So see, size really doesn't matter.

Welcome to Fun-Fun Land. Where everything isn't just fun, it's Fun-Fun.

Just Some Amusing Internet Places To Visit. (I'd say vote on your favorite, but nobody's watching. But if you happen to be nobody and happen to be watching then, well, vote. Otherwise, you won't be able to complain.) http://www.wimp.com/acapella (thanks to Nate for that one) Okay. Apparently that's the only one I could come up with. It seems I actually have better things to do than randomly search the internet for amusing things. Well, relatively. And for a goodbye, I leave you with another (loosely copied) Dimitri Martin quote: "A stutter is like starting every sentence with a drum roll."

Won't you be my neighbor?

My downstairs neighbor is a dreadful parker (as in cars and parking). She always parks right on top of the passenger side line. It's really annoying because if I ever take a spot on the right of her, I have to park way over. I can't even park close to her to prove a point, because then I can't get out. Now, I've only noticed it a few times, so I thought maybe she just happened to park that way a few times. But today, since I'm assuming she's moving out for (at least) the summer, her father pulled in ahead of her. And parked right on top of the passenger side line. And as she pulled in behind her, she stopped because she noticed that he was parked way over. And he had to wave her in and she had to back up, because she was going to pull in past him (i.e. the other side of me). So, it must be a genetic thing. Or a family tradition of bad parking. Lata.

"My Dog is a Vegetarian"

Okay, so my roommate and I are having our end of the year barbaque with some friends. And we're outside roasting marshmellows and burning things (cause fire is fun. :stern look: But dangerous, so always practice fire safety!). This lady comes by with her dog and the dog starts sniffing around. My roommate apparently chucked a burnt bratwurst off to the side of the bushes and that's what the dog was eating. There's a pleasant exchange of conversation where we let the lady know what her dog is trying to eat. How does she answer? "Oh, my dog is a vegetarian." ... ... ... ... ... Right now, I'm just to shocked and horrifyed and incredulous at this to comment more. So I'll talk about it some other time. But I'm sure you can guess what the problem is. But on to other things. One of my favorite new shows is "NUMB3RS" on CBS It's got Rob Marrow (Northern Exposure) who's cute. But more importantly it has David Krumholtz (The Santa Clause &...

I'm not sure what it is...

but I LOVE the violin and the cello. If you're a guy (or heck, even a girl) who can play either of those, you'll be almost instantly and with little regret, skyrocketted above the rest. There's just something about it that I can't explain but nothing touches me quite like those two instruments. They can be upbeat and fun, but they are most often just so haunting. I love the haunting quality in an instrument, in a song, and even in people. Sigh. I'm going back to my media player.

Sorry.

Haven't posted in a while. Been busy what with the end of the school year and all. Will try to get something of substance up later this week, but we'll see how well that works out. Adios.
