Happy Thanksgiving! (What!? Don't give me that look. How much do I really have to say on the matter? It's Thanksgiving. Go enjoy it and stop hounding me. Sheesh.)
Figured I had a couple things I needed to elaborate on, so that's what I'm doing. First off: Jonathan Brandis's death has been labeled a suicide. Apparently a friend discovered him and called 911, claiming the actor had tried to kill himself by hanging. Brandis was taken to the hospital where he passed away. This seems to be the official word but I'll let you know if anything changes. Second off: The news on my dad is basically that the vertebrae in his spine are slowly fusing together. The process is called "Anklelosis Spondalitis" or something like that. I'm not exactly sure. Anyway. By the time the process is finished my dad won't be able to rotate his spine and possibly his neck. He will still be able to walk, sit, drive, etc. But if he wants to look at something that's not directly in front of him, he'll have to turn his whole body. The disease is also hereditary (approx. 7% of the population carries the gene, but only 1% has the dis
got some bad news about my dad and i don't want to talk about it again. I'll post something later.
I'm afraid I have some bad news. Jonathan Brandis (SeaQuest DSV) was found dead in his home, November 12, at the age of 27. The cause of death has not yet been released (but I'll post it when I find out). He was damn hot and a damn good actor. Now I'm sad and don't want to talk about it anymore. I'll post more information when I get it.
This has been, like, the best week of my life (and by week I mean the last seven days). This is why: 1. I finally beat Tomb Raider II (that might have actually been longer than a week ago, but I'm counting it anyway). And I was rather mad, too, cuz it took me forever to figure out how to kill the stupid dragon at the end. The game doesn't tell you that when the dragon falls over, before it gets up again, you have to run over and pull a dagger out of it's stomach. Which is a lot harder than you make think, I had tried about five times before I was actually able to do it. Anyway, that's over. I'll probably start game 3 in a few days. 2. I found out, as I mentioned earlier, they are making a Farscape mini-series. I'm very happy about that. Farscape is one of my all-time favorite shows. And if you know me, you know how hard it is for me to pick a favorite anything, so that should tell you how much I love the show. *sigh* Ben Browder is so hot. Sidebar: if
ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got some of the BEST NEWS EVER!!!!!!!!!! FARSCAPE IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! An independent mini-series is being filmed. Now, it's not attached to Sci-Fi, so I don't know where it's going to be shown, but it's in definite production. It's also not an order for new episodes, but hell, MORE FARSCAPE IS MORE FARSCAPE!!!!!!!!!!!! (in ccase you haven't guessed, Farscape is probably my favorite show ever.)
Hey Ringo, I got good news!! Our boy, Owen Wilson, has got a new movie. It's callled "The Big Bounce" and comes out January 30th. The plot (in my own words): A little bit o'love, a little bit o'crime. Looking forward to that one. This was a short one, maybe I'll add some later.
This is from an e-mail my aunt sent me. I thought it was pretty funny......and disturbingly accurate. Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Heaven, God was missing for six days. Eventually, Michael the archangel found him, resting on the seventh day. He inquired of God, "Where have you been?" God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed downwards through the clouds, "Look Michael, look what I've made." Archangel Michael looked puzzled and said, "What is it?" "It's a planet," replied God, "and I've put Life on it. I'm going to call it Earth and it's going to be a great place of balance." "Balance?", inquired Michael, still confused. God explained, pointing to different parts of earth, "For example, Northern Europe will be a place of great opportunity and wealth while Southern Europe is going to be poor; the Middle East over there will be a hot spot. Over here I've pla
Just a quickie, wanted to say that Viva La Bam has to be one of the best fucking shows ever. If you haven't seen it yet, you suck. Watch the damn show. No, really it's a good show, tune in.
Sidebar: Now, I already started a post to put here but stupid me hit something on the key board and erased it all. It sucks cause what I had was really good. *sigh* Anyway, I'm gonna try and recreate it as best as possible. Sidebar #2: Just wanted to say real quick that I love sidebars. They're so much fun. But, right, back to business (hey, I spelled "business" right.) Man, am I having trouble keeping it together or what? Anyway: ------- So I haven't posted in a while and figured I should toss you guys a bone. I was going through some files on my computer and came across some poetry that I did a while ago and thought it'd be a nice treat for all of you loyal viewers out there in TV Land. Now I don't normally do poetry unless it's for a class because I'm not really a fan of it. Actually, I think it pretty much sucks, however that doesn't mean I suck at it. I'm actually pretty decent at it and would do it more if I didn't hate i
