Do you know what one of the main problems is with modern day society? We're taught not to discriminate based on race. And while that might seem like a good thing, and you might be rather outraged right now, the entire concept is fundamentally flawed. The problem is that teaching people this concept instills them with the idea that there is such a thing as "race." There isn't. "Race" is a socially construct based on a person physical appearance or geographic location. Genetically, there is no basic difference between one person and the next. So the other day, Saturday or something, I made a chocolate cake (Devil's food) and it was from a box, but it now has a full cup of pudding! Anyway, so I then added some chocolate chips, and made buttercream frosting, which is excellent by the way. And while I'm making this, from the point of getting out a stick of butter to the final frosting, Sara frequently reminds me that I'm evil, and I also remind her of that fact because I know how much she enjoys calling me evil. I think she is most fond of it right after I've handed her a no-longer needed utensil that is covered in either batter or frosting. But the point. Sara comments on how she's going to gather all of her self-control and not eat a bunch of it. Well, fortunately for her, I apparently am not immune to my own evil. The Cake is Gone. I am...I don't know. My head is...I don't know. There's a whole mess of I-don't-know running through my brain. The heater keeps turning on and I want to kill it. But I don't want to get up. That wasn't what I wanted to say. That wasn't the thing inside my head trying to get out. And yet it appeared anyway. I felt high last night, humming at the foot of my bed as I played a game, listening to a random mix of songs I'd already approved. Songs that have been running through my mind since my obsession with hearing them began some several weeks ago. The world felt nice around me. Quiet and dark. I felt alone. I felt that feeling when you ask to be left alone and people listen and comply without the implication that "are you upset about something?" or are being anti-social. Who could blame us, though? The social of the world sucks. How dare you shut down your mind? How dare you think the thoughts that are your own? Where was I going? Wh...
So Hey. I've been gone a while. I know you haven't noticed. Mostly because i've come to accept that there is no "you". No one reads this but the occasional friend who remembers it exists and checks to see if i've written something about them. Whatever, no big. I really didn't create this with the intention that I'd have a ton of people reading it. I wouldn't mind if there were a ton of people reading it, but what are you gonna do.
I don't know how often I'll be posting. I tend to go through these phases. You'll notice that I went through a very dark and fatalistic one a while back. I also go through crazy ones where I'm just off the charts obscure. And right now I'm in a very mellow one, so I don't really have that much to say. And this time I actually mean it. I've got novels I'm trying to write so I'm going to go back to that before I get distracted by the television.

From now on, or at least today, Wednesday is "You know what I hate?" day. So to start things off: You know what I hate? English majors. I know what you're thinking. "Aren't you an English major?" Yes, I am. But why do you think I put it off for 3 years? Because they suck. They are unbearably pretentious and the only form of life more useless that Communication majors and the only ones more annoying than Art majors. They all think (and by "all" I am excluding myself) they're going to write the next great novel. But what they fail to remember is that most people who become famous for art related issues only become famous after they're dead. Picasso. William Shakespeare. (he was, admittedly, popular in his day, but that was because he wrote plays people wanted to see, he wrote what was "hot."
